Kane the Dog needs a home

~~Hi, I'm Kane! I'm a big baby-dog who is looking for a big lap to snuggle on. I am nervous around new people, especially men, and I'm working on my fear issues at the shelter and doing great. The nice people here are seeing improvement in me every day, and I now love to show off my silly side with toys and playing fetch- that's my favorite! I bring the toy back every time and wait nicely for you to throw it again! I am really looking for someone who understands me, and gives me the time I need to come out of my shell. I am a big boy but I will still try to fit my way onto your lap, or at least snuggle up close to you on the couch if you'll let me. I am lazy and nap most of the day, but when you get home, I'll be your loyal shadow and follow everywhere you go. After you adopt me, I will need you to continue helping me with my socialization and teach me lots of new things about this big, crazy world! I will repay you with endless kisses and cuddles. Love always, Kane

WHS GB Staff Note: Kane needs an experienced dog owner who can help work on positive reinforcement- he is fearful of strangers but warms up quickly with treats (especially hot dogs!). He has shown a lot of improvement in the shelter environment and we are continuing his training until he gets adopted. Kane would also like to be the only dog in his new home. Please inquire with our behavior team for more information.
